In 2018 her father was found guilty of attempted murder, rape, child abuse and neglect, using and dealing drugs, defeating and obstructing justice and sentenced to 67 years’ imprisonment, of which he must effectively serve 35 years. Her mother was given a five-year suspended jail term on charges of child neglect, defeating and obstructing justice, and drug possession.
